Xbox One players are about to receive a new update that will make changes to its Game Pass and Xbox Live services.
The is currently no information to be large the update will be, it has been given the codename “1905”, and it appears that the focus here is quality of life improvements, helping Xbox gamers to organise their games better.
The friends and messages section have been due for an update for some time now, and the refresh will allow users to see which device Xbox Live members are using, this is a small interface tweak that Microsoft has made in anticipation of its upcoming xCloud service which will allow a whole host of platforms to host Xbox Live services.
Incoming messages from users who aren’t on your friends list will also be sorted into their own menu option to help tidy up messages.
There will also be a host of performance updates, to allow the menu to load faster between tabs.
