Rust is randomly selling well on Steam

According to the official Steam sales charts for last week, Rust carried sales on the PC platform last week. Rust sales seem to be driven by several streamers who have taken to the survival game such as xQc, Valkyrie, Shroud, Myth, CourageJD, SypherPK, and TimtheTatman.

Rust viewership remains consistently high on Twitch, typically remaining in the top three most viewed games on the streaming service at any given time. Some gamers expect the Rust bubble to burst, but right now the 2013 title still remains extremely popular.

A huge plus is that Twitch streamers that are playing Rust have been sharing an OfflineTV server which provides them with lots of content to share, while limiting the access to the server to content creators. Team Rocket seems to run the OfflineTV server and gamers that aren’t part of the coalition are on thin ice because of rules frequently not being followed.

Rust is available right now on PC and Mac.
