Stadia recently made waves in the console market by showing off its immense power, making both Sony and Microsoft stand up and take note.
Google’s Stadia will have 10.7 teraflops of performance, which is twice as powerful than the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One X, but according to new reports, both companies are hinting at how powerful the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett could be.
According to a new report, from video games journalist Jason Schreier, Sony and Microsoft are aiming at higher than 10.7 teraflops for their respective upcoming consoles. Both consoles aren’t coming out until 2020 either, which has been reported several times in numerous reports.
With this rumour, it should be noted that things are always subject to change, especially during development, as ideas always change, costs get involved and background decisions and cut or add things at whim.
