PUBG Xbox players in Oceania have reported an inability to connect to that region’s servers in the wake of a patch applied last week. Players are instead being forced onto servers for North America, driving ping up to 200 or higher and increasing latency to levels players describe as untenable.
PUBG Xbox community coordinators Grant “Takarii” Hickey and Andy “Andymh5” Hall have responded to player complaints on the PUBG Xbox forums, assuring Oceanic players PUBG Corp is investigating the problem. The official PUBG Support Twitter account has yet to acknowledge the issue, and no progress updates have been shared since Friday morning.

“We aren’t the biggest fan base but the players in the OC servers are super loyal and feel really disappointed,” said Bryan Reilly. “We feel if server trouble happens with Europe or NA servers the issue would have been addressed and a statement would be released immediately. We feel like we are left in the dark and are second rate players to them.”
