The latest and hottest addition to the Battle Royale genre Apex Legends, has been out less than a month and already players are trying to make money off the game.
On eBay, some people are attempting to sell their accounts and they are charging over 100 dollars, rising up to more than $500 for buy-it-now accounts.
Although this isn’t the first time we’ve seen this happen with online games before, this is usually containing accounts that have rare weapons, skins or limited-edition loot. As Apex Legend hasn’t been out long, there isn’t a huge reason to why people are charging so much.
Right now, HERE is a listing for “Apex Legends Acc w/ complete heirloom set – lvl 60 + founder pack + bf1,” is being sold for a cool $500.
However, it should be known (and shouldn’t be suprising) that buying any of these accounts violates both EAs and Respawns terms of service, so if you buy an account, don’t be shocked to see it banned.
Over on Twitter, some people are even trying to sell their Fortnite accounts – so they can afford better stuff for Apex Legends such as this account;
Selling my Fortnite account because I am switching to apex! I can provide all the info you want! I can even join your lobby on Fortnite! This account costs over 1000 dollars and is my favorite account selling for 100$ or we can trade!#fortniteaccounttrade #fortniteaccountforsale pic.twitter.com/bYKFRNyrHE

“Selling my Fortnite account because I am switching to apex! I can provide all the info you want! I can even join your lobby on Fortnite! This account costs over 1000 dollars and is my favorite account selling for 100$”
It’s not possible to cringe more at that.
