CAPCOM have revealed that Monster Hunter World’s Update 6.1, will add support for NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) in the game.
Following this announcement, NVIDIA shared their own updated Monster Hunter World 4K benchmarks with DLSS enabled.
According to NVIDIA, the GeForce RTX 2080Ti manages 71.6 average frame rate per second with DLSS enabled, a massive improvement of 53.3%. The GeForce RTX 2080 boasts an even better gain of 58.2% (54.9 average FPS), while the RTX 2070 runs 57% faster with DLSS enabled (45.7 average FPS). Even the slowest RTX graphics card, the 2060, can now run the game at a more than playable 37.2 average frame rate per second with a 57.6% increase.
Monster Hunter World will be the first game to feature an in-game sharpness slider that specifically tweaks the DLSS effect so that users may choose a sharper or softer image according to their preference. NVIDIA noted that this feature had been requested by the community and is now finally available as a result of that.
