The PlayStation exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man, developed by Insomniac Games, has sold over 20m units worldwide and it’s already one of the best-selling PlayStation 4 games.

Marvel's Spider-Man sold 20 million units globally.
The last reported figure was 13.2 million units sold by August 2019.https://t.co/UsMSqNaoR2 pic.twitter.com/lrfGwEiK62

Marvel’s Spider-Man has become one of the best-selling titles on the PS4 console., however, these figures do not include statistics for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, which has just come out with the launch of the PS5 console.

Sony have acquired Insomniac Games for $229 million, and with basic math, you can conclude that it was a worthwhile investment.

With the PS5 out now, and one of the launch games is Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Ultimate edition gets you the Spider-man Remastered too. So, the number of 20M copies sold will soon become significantly higher.
