Whilst the exact release date has not been mentioned, EA has confirmed that PlayStation users will soon be able to access the service. The access will begin sometime in July, and it will grant access to the EA Access vault, including games such as FIFA, Star Wars: Battlefront 2, and Battlefield.
The subscription will come in at $4.99/per month or $29.99/per year through the PlayStation Store. Those who decide to subscribe will get access to 10 hours of early access gameplay from upcoming titles before public release. Gamers will also get 10 percent off when they purchase EA games, expansions or in-game purchases.
The move comes as Sony changes stance on the subscription service, after the company initially rejected the service. However since the original launch, EA Access has placed hundreds of games into their vault, allowing users to play many for free.
