Back to the triple AAA nonsense and the king of nonsense at E3 is Ubisoft. So, what can we expect from them well given what was announced last year and into the run-up to this year’s E3? Expect to see Beyond Good and Evil 2 and hopefully see more solid information as its been nearly 2 years since it was officially announced. Also, expect to see more stuff on the next Ghost Recon game, Ghost Recon Breakpoint AKA the one where you’re taking on The Punisher. However, there will be no Assassin’s Creed for 2019 as its been confirmed since last year, but there has been a lot of rumours circulating in where is going to be set with the Vikings taking the most attention. I don’t think it will be making an appearance this year and will probably be aiming for the next gen of consoles, and there probably will be a Just Cause game, and with some dancing twats as well.
Now we come to the predictions, and to kick things off, let’s look at Watch Dogs 3 which has been teased for a while since and leaked somewhat lately on 4Chan and corroborated, which is supposedly set in ye old London town. And have much more emphasis on hacking rather than combat supposedly which given that assassins creed it on a break will fill that gap rather nicely. While the details could very easily be wrong but I would wager that Watch Dogs 3 will make an appearance, this next one is much more hope and anything. It’s been nearly 6 years since the last Splinter Cell game was announced at E3 and since when Sam Fisher made an appearance in Ghost Recon Wildlands along with the original voice actor Michael Ironside, and during an interview with IGN, Yves Guillemot (CEO of Ubisoft) said.
“Now there are some things and some people that are now looking at the brand; taking care of the brand.” teased the CEO. “At one point you will see something but I can’t say more than that.”
Which to me says, we’ve got something in the pipeline for that. Which speaks the old classic line at E3 “oh, Just one more thing”, so, I would be expecting to see Sam Fisher making a comeback.
