Sony is gearing up to release Dreams as the game’s early access period draws to a close.
Developed by LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway studio Media Molecule, Dreams is billed as “a platform where you can create anything you can imagine, then share it with the world using just your PS4”.
It’s been in early access since April and will be released on February 14, 2020, if rumours are true.
Writing on the PlayStation Blog, Media Molecule communications manager Abbie Heppe announced “the first annual awards for Dreams” are set to take place on January 26. The studio is asking the community to nominate creators in various categories ahead of the event, which will include “a stream full of fun and surprises”.
“Now, you may ask — does this mean Early Access is nearing an end? Yes, yes it does,” Heppe then added.
Dream Early Access ($29.99 / £24.99) will no longer be purchasable from December 7, and anyone who’s already bought it will still be able to play after this time and will be upgraded to the full version of the game at launch at no extra cost.
