Nintendo’s latest mobile game, Dr. Mario World, has reached over 2 million downloads since its release earlier this week for both iOS and Android devices.
The report comes from Sensor Tower Store Intelligence, which also estimated that the free-to-play game had earned more than $100,000 in in-app purchases during the first 72 hours after launch.
The company compared Dr. Mario World’s launch with the first three days of previous Nintendo mobile game launches, such as Super Mario Run and Dragalia Lost.
Super Mario Run – 4.3 million installs – $6.5 million gross revenue
Fire Emblem Heroes – 4.9 million installs – $11.6 million gross revenue
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp – 6 million installs – $1.4 million gross revenue
Dragalia Lost – 300,000 installs – $250,000 gross revenue
Dr. Mario World – 2 million installs – $100,000 gross revenue
