Another entry into the super-serious rally spin-off, Dirt Rally 2.0 (just don’t call it 2, otherwise people will get mad.) Focusing on the rallying and adding in a touch of Rallycross, which included tracks taken right from the FIA World Rallycross Championship.
Boasting more cars than Dirt Rally (50), but not getting higher on our list, and this is why: the career mode was incredibly boring. Dirt Rally 2.0 is clearly a showcase for the physics engine, and showing off how realistic the cars handle – to the point of being undriveable, but that’s my opinion. In the career mode, players are tasked with completing different championships, and when they’ve done, well they can complete the same championship over and over again.
Honestly, if you’re after a full rallying career mode – this isn’t it, this is if you wanted a rallying simulator. For a good rally career mode, it’s a top tip to load up WRC9 or something like that.
