Cyberpunk 2077 was initially announced for PC, PS4, and Xbox One at E3 2018 before being announced for Google Stadia in August, but there was no mention of the Nintendo Switch at the time.
According studio head John Mamais, the port probably won’t happen, but he wasn’t absolutely sure about that.
“Who would have thought a game like The Witcher 3 would be possible on Switch, so who knows?” Mamais said to GameSpot recently at the PAX Australia convention. “I guess we’ll see, if we decide to put it on the Switch, if we can do it. Probably not.”
With that information, it could be possible, since Cyberpunk 2077 runs on the same engine as The Witcher 3 but is obviously much more graphically advanced, so it could require the game to take a technoglical drop, which could provide issues.
