Call of Duty reportedly makes a ton of money very minute

2020 has been a good year for Activision, Infinity Ward and their money spinner Cal of Duty. This is thanks to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and its free-to-play Battle Royale counterpart, Warzone.

According to SlottyVegas, we now have an idea of just how much the Call of Duty series and all its games brings in each day, and it’s a staggering amount.

Using data from Nielsen Super Data, Esports Earnings, Forbes, and Social Blade, it has been revealed that “we can exclusively reveal that Call Of Duty is making a staggering £2.4 million per day from physical purchases and online transactions,” the company said in a press release.

“That’s just over £1,600 per minute. During the past 80 days of lockdown, Call of Duty has earned £194,204,059.15, helped in large part by its Battle Royale offshoot, Warzone.” For those in America, that’s roughly $1,998 USD per minute.

With another Call of Duty game expected to be revealed anytime in the coming weeks, it seems there is just no stopping the money train.
