Barotrauma is set to dive into early access as of the 5th of June on Steam. The game first started out back in 2015, as a free-to-play pre-alpha game, and has been steadily accumulating updates since then. After a long development, Undertow Games has announced that an early access version will be available on steam.
Set within the icy depths of Europa, one of Jupiter’s many moons, the game tasks up to 16 players with a variety of missions. From sandbox to missions, to a special trator mode, the game’s most important rule, is survival.
In a submarine that can barely hold itself together. Along with the interference from player and enemy alike, Barotrauma makes for a fun-filled co-operative experience. With complex tasks such as navigation, defence and general maintenance, the game rewards teamwork with extended voyages. However, one wrong move and you’ll be sinking to the seafloor.
Barotrauma will be emerging on Steam in early access on the 5th of June.
