Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is off to a great start after it’s release, as Ubisoft has announced that the number of active players on day one of the release of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is double that achieved by 2018’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
The publisher also expects these numbers to get even bigger as more and more people pick up the game with their new PS5 or Xbox Series X/S.
Ubisoft didn’t disclose specific player numbers or direct stats, it’s not hard to see how the game attracted so many players on day one, due to it being a fresh breath of air into the long-tired Assassin’s Creed series.
The game is also available on more platforms at launch than any other Assassin’s Creed before it. Valhalla came out on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Stadia and Luna. Obviously, this will help those high numbers.
